Paige reaches new heights in her Scaffolding Apprenticeship

Congratulations to Paige Pickering, who has passed part 1 of her Scaffolding Apprenticeship!

Scaffolding Apprenticeship

Powertherm want to say a huge congratulations to Trainee Scaffolder, Paige Pickering for passing part one of her scaffolding apprenticeship.

Paige has been with us since November 2021 and has impressed her colleagues with her willingness to learn and get stuck in. Her role is to help her colleagues to erect and dismantle scaffold and support the team with general labouring tasks. Paige is happy to get involved wherever she is needed.

Completing part 1 of her apprenticeship involved attending a 10 day training course in Nottingham, where she learnt scaffolding theory before she erected independent, birdcage and putlog scaffolds. On the final day of the course, Paige followed a design plan of an 8ft tower to independently erect the tower safely. This ensured that Paige successfully passed the course.

Paige really enjoyed learning new skills and erecting the scaffolds. She’s looking forward to being able to progress more each day and learning more surrounded by her colleagues, which will allow her to be more involved with jobs on site.

Back in March, Paige said “Since I started working for Powertherm as a Trainee Scaffolder, I’ve really enjoying my experience here. Everyone is friendly and approachable which makes going to work so much better. I can’t wait to progress further within my job here.”

Well Done Paige and Good Luck with the rest of your Apprenticeship!
