This mental health awareness week we’re focusing on the importance of community, which is this years theme.
Mental health affects us all, and it’s often the everyday support from those around us that makes the biggest difference. Whether it’s a check-in from a colleague, a friendly chat, or simply knowing someone’s there, it all adds up.
At Powertherm, we’re committed to building a workplace where people feel seen, supported, and connected. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue looking out for one another, because community is key to better mental health.
Here’s what we’ve done this week to bring a sense of community to Powertherm:
Walking Together –
We kicked off mental health week we organised a walk around the local lake, giving our employees the chance to connect, get some fresh air, and show their support for mental well being.
Checking in with a cake and coffee
With this year’s theme of Mental Health Awareness Week being community, Powertherm decided to host a Cake & Coffee morning!
It was a chance to take a break, catch up with colleagues, and enjoy some cake, coffee, and games together. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and made the morning a success!
Starting the day right!
To keep positive energy going after Mental health awareness week, we arranged for a breakfast van to visit for the team.
Looking after employees’ well-being is a priority, and sometimes a shared breakfast is a simple way to show we care. it was great to see everyone enjoy a relaxed start to the day.
At Powertherm, supporting our team’s mental health and well-being isn’t just for Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s something we focus on all year round. Whether in the office, on-site, or in our manufacturing departments, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and their well-being will always be our top priority.
