YES – The Space-Ring System (SRS) works alongside other technologies and solutions which help to prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI).
Closed cell and water repellent insulation materials help prevent CUI; the bolts of the SRS can be pushed through insulation materials meaning no gaps are present between sections of insulation.
Specialist coatings like thermally sprayed aluminium can also be applied in addition to the SRS to help reduce the effects of CUI.
NDT inspections can be carried out where the SRS is installed to help spot and track any signs of corrosion before they become a major problem.
Other monitoring / detective CUI related systems like moisture detection solutions can be used alongside the SRS for a comprehensive system to tackle CUI.
