Powertherm complete Industrial Acoustic Insulation on silencers
Powerteam onsite for the supply and installation of industrial acoustic insulation and cladding to 20 silencers to reduce acoustic pollution to the surrounding environment.
Industrial silencers absorb and reduce noise/ vibration levels from equipment and machinery to meet regulations and minimise environmental disruptions. They incorporate sound-deadening materials, fabrics, and compounds which absorb the noise from the flow of elements such as exhaust gases.
To comply with rules and regulations on acceptable acoustic levels our client required specialist installation of industrial acoustic insulation and cladding to the silencers of 20 generators at two flexible power generation facilities in the UK.
Powertherm supplied, manufactured, and installed mineral wool insulation and cladding – with an acoustic insulation barrier applied to the shell, cap end, supports, tees and expansion bellows of the silencers.
